College Resources

GOT KIDS?

If you have a student starting 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade, at TCC or a child age 18-23 interested in college, the College Resource Program is for you.

The College Resource Program hopes to educate parents and help students get ready for college. Our goal is to encourage students to attend college by connecting both students and parents with resources to make that possible. Our primary emphasis is to reach first-generation college students, however all employees are welcome to participate.

If you choose to enroll in this free program, you will receive a monthly newsletter with information for students and parents. You will also receive invitations to dinner programs. Additionally, as the College Resource Program learns of opportunities such as ACT workshops, camps and other programs for which your student is eligible, you will be notified.

The College Resource Program is a committee of the Staff Assembly. The Assembly funds the program as a service to employees. The coordinators are all volunteers - some are Assembly members and others are not.

To enroll, please contact Leigh Holland (collegeresource@tcu.edu, 817.257.5557) or Shelly Lopez (A.Lopez@tcu.edu, 817.257.7092)

Sincerely,
College Resource Program Coordinators
